The project was officially launched by the opening conference, which took place on March 7, 2023 in the hotel Saffron in Bratislava. The conference was open for public and was attended by representatives of the University of Iceland, employees from STU, representative from the Embassy of Norway, representatives from Research Agency (sk. Výskumná agentúra) and other guests from various research institutions. During the meeting detailed steps and time frame of the project were discused, including the first visit to UI from STU.
