As part of the activities of the REX-RMA project, a business trip took place at the University of Iceland, focusing on workshops on financial reporting and budget preparation. These workshops provided a great opportunity to share knowledge and best practices with Icelandic colleagues, while also discussing effective communication with researchers, involvement in consortia, and improving project proposals.
The visit also included a tour of the University of Iceland’s science park, which serves as a dynamic environment for research and innovation. This park connects the academic sphere with industry and provides support for start-ups and innovative projects. The science park offers specialized laboratories, coworking spaces, and access to expertise from various fields, creating synergies between researchers and entrepreneurs. Such an environment fosters technology transfer and helps companies bring innovative solutions to market more quickly. The exchange of experiences and know-how in this setting strengthens collaboration and innovation in the fields of research and education.
