The project REX RMA benefits from a 151 987 € grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants. The project has been co-financed from the State Budget of the Slovak Republic in the amount of 26 821 €. The aim of the project is to increase the level of competence and raise excellence in the skill level and professional development in project and research management, and administration across all STU faculties and possibly beyond university to RMAs in Slovakia.
Thanks to the establishment of active cooperation in the field of research management and administration (RMA) between the University of Iceland (UI) and the Slovak Technical University (STU) within of the project Raising excellence in Research and Project management and Administration through close cooperation funded by EEA Grants, both institutions involved will be able to achieve excellence through the exchange of know-how, expertise and best practices. STU will enhance its internal processes, making them more sustainable and ecological, thereby fulfilling the set goals.
Not only STU employees will visit UI 2 times, where most of the knowledge exchange will take place, but UI employees will visit STU to conduct proffesional workshops and other educational activities. These activities will be supervised by employees of UI in the field of research management and administration.
In the final phase of the project, a concluding conference will be held to present the results of cooperation and improvements in the field of research management. The event will be intended for administrative workers, academic staff, teachers, and students from STU and other European universities
